Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 scalability milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum machine learning frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Mentor junior researchers and establish quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Published research in quantum error correction or algorithm optimization
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable technical specifications
