Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Develop error-corrected qubit systems with >99.9% fidelity targets
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum processors
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science)
- Secure $1M+ in research grants through NIH/NSF proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026)
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit design using Qiskit/Cirq
- Published work in top quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware programming
- Strong background in condensed matter physics or quantum optics
