Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and material science
- Lead experimental validation of qubit coherence at 99.9% fidelity targets
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $5M+ in government grants for next-gen quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits
