Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant system architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure research funding through grants and strategic partnerships with quantum industry leaders
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the quantum computing community's knowledge base
- Translate theoretical research into practical prototypes that demonstrate quantum advantage
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, or quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#) and simulation tools
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
