Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for scalable systems
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning techniques
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (3+ years experience)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for industry applications
