Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate on hardware-software co-design for next-gen quantum processors
- Lead experiments with superconducting qubits and photonic quantum networks
- Publish research in Nature Physics and IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA and NSF grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2025)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Proficiency with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
