Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for computational acceleration
- Simulate quantum systems to model chemical reactions and material properties
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Translate theoretical quantum physics into implementable software solutions
- Present findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams in quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Published research in quantum information science or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Strong background in at least one classical programming language (Python/C++)
