Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum hardware integration methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate quantum theory into practical business solutions
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype and test quantum processors
- Secure research grants and patents for novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum information theory, and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in quantum computing or related high-impact journals
- Expertise in at least one classical programming language (Python, C++, Julia)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects with measurable outcomes
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
