Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop novel quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Lead research on quantum hardware-software integration and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates and drive innovation through our Quantum Incubation Program
- Secure $5M+ in government grants and industry partnerships for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with 3+ years of quantum research
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum simulation frameworks
- Published work in quantum error correction or NISQ-era algorithms (arXiv citations required)
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or ion trap systems
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or quantum machine learning
- Proven ability to secure NSF/DoE grants or industry partnerships
- Fluency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing environments
