Our team is developing fault-tolerant quantum processors capable of solving previously intractable problems in drug discovery, climate modeling, and financial optimization. You'll lead breakthrough research in quantum error correction, hybrid quantum-classical systems, and topological qubit design – directly contributing to our 2026 commercialization roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure and manage $5M+ in government and industry research grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years of research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or IEEE Transactions
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum languages (Qiskit, Q#)
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DOE, DARPA)
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory and information theory
