Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubit platforms
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize classical-quantum machine learning frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in leading scientific journals and conferences
- Secure patents for quantum computing methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Quipper)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and control systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal or industry research grants
- Strong background in quantum information theory and many-body physics
