Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for exponential speedup in computational tasks
- Lead multi-disciplinary research teams in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop novel quantum hardware interfaces and optimization methodologies
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security protocols and cryptography
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Secure multi-million dollar research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computational Physics, or Computer Science with quantum specialization
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
