Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead hardware-software co-design initiatives to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics and complex system modeling
- Collaborate with government agencies and Fortune 500 partners on quantum security standards
- Mentor a team of 8-12 researchers and publish 4+ high-impact papers annually
- Secure $10M+ in research grants and strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Cirq) and cloud quantum platforms
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction, fault tolerance, and decoherence mitigation
- Experience leading multidisciplinary R&D teams with $5M+ budgets
- Patents in quantum computing or quantum information theory preferred
