Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop error mitigation protocols for quantum supremacy achievement
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Drive intellectual property strategy with 50+ patent filings goal
- Mentor PhD researchers and postdocs in quantum information science
- Secure $10M+ in quantum computing research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of securing government/industry research funding
- Strong background in quantum error correction techniques
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing
