Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms with exponential speed advantages over classical systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in developing error-corrected qubit architectures
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to solve real-world optimization problems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private research grants
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm design and implementation
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience securing DoE/NSF grants or similar funding mechanisms
