Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum computing architectures, including qubit arrangements, error correction codes, and quantum algorithms.
- Collaborate with research scientists to translate theoretical models into practical quantum computing solutions.
- Lead the integration of quantum hardware and software to create seamless and efficient quantum systems.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum computing and incorporate emerging technologies into architectural designs.
- Document architectural designs, protocols, and best practices for quantum computing systems.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on quantum computing.
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing research, development, or architecture.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum error correction.
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages such as Q# or Qiskit.
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms, including superconducting qubits, trapped ions, or topological qubits.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment.
