Responsibilities
- Design and architect quantum computing systems optimized for error correction and scalability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for complex problem-solving applications
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Create quantum security protocols for next-gen communication systems
- Research and implement quantum machine learning frameworks
- Document architectural specifications and implementation roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum system architecture
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant designs
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Published research in quantum computing or related field preferred
