Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography, drug discovery, and climate modeling
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum error correction protocols
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in top-tier journals
- Drive quantum cloud platform integration with AWS Braket and IBM Quantum
- Secure $5M+ in quantum research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (Azure Quantum, D-Wave)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion technologies
