Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Lead the development of quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with quantum algorithm researchers to optimize hardware-software integration
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for real-world industrial applications
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-generation cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum hardware principles and implementation
- Present architectural roadmaps to executive stakeholders and technical advisory boards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Proven experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into executable architectures
