Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers to build prototype quantum processors
- Establish quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Create roadmaps for quantum hardware integration with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to implement quantum solutions in finance, healthcare, and logistics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum hardware design
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Certification in quantum computing from recognized institutions (e.g., IBM Q Network)
