Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop proprietary quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on quantum chip integration
- Establish industry standards for quantum-secure communication protocols
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and partnerships
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Experience securing DoD or NSF quantum research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Patent portfolio in quantum computing technologies
