Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures using qubit topologies for error correction
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Lead security audits for quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Research and publish breakthrough papers in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
