Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world industry applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware innovations
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and simulation
- Published work in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Clearance for government quantum projects (preferred)
