Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead development of quantum error correction protocols to achieve practical quantum advantage
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Translate complex quantum algorithms into deployable quantum circuit implementations
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for near-term applications
- Create quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and conduct advanced research in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm implementation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware platforms
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing systems
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
