Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Lead development of error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing infrastructure
- Develop patent-pending algorithms for quantum machine learning applications
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and major industry partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or PyQuil)
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction techniques
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading technical teams in R&D environments
- Strong understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ-era constraints
