Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world problem domains
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to optimize algorithm performance on physical qubits
- Develop quantum error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant computing
- Create simulation frameworks for algorithm validation and benchmarking
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proficiency in Python with NumPy/SciPy and quantum circuit design
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Strong understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex mathematical concepts
