Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical AI algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Develop novel error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum neural networks

- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry grants for quantum-AI research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into commercial applications for healthcare and logistics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing or gate-based systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum machine learning algorithms
- Familiarity with quantum-safe cryptography and post-quantum standards
- Strong background in distributed computing for quantum-classical hybrid systems
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government collaboration projects
