Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum-AI hybrid systems using D-Wave and IBM quantum processors
- Develop proprietary error-correction techniques for quantum neural networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit architectures for AI workloads
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure and manage government/private research grants totaling $2M+
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA) and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum-AI integration or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Track record of securing competitive research grants
