Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans to ensure software functionality, reliability, and user experience.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA and other bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
- Perform regression testing on new releases to maintain system stability and prevent bugs.
- Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Communicate test results and quality status clearly to stakeholders and team members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) testing.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress) and API testing tools (Postman) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Linux environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document complex technical issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
