Role Overview:
In this position, you will be responsible for executing test plans, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers to ensure seamless software delivery. You will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test scripts to verify software functionality and user experience.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs using JIRA and defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design comprehensive test cases.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not break existing functionality.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and testing methodologies to continuously improve testing processes.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience as a QA Tester or Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Experience with Manual Testing (Selenium, Appium) and API Testing (Postman, REST Assured).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database querying.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
