Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Design and execute manual and automated test scripts to verify software functionality and user experience.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with developers.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing to ensure new features do not break existing functionality.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium or Cypress to improve testing efficiency.
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate test plans, test cases, and test reports to provide transparency on project status.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Automation: Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation and understanding of HTTP protocols.
- Methodology: Deep understanding of software testing life cycles (SDLC), Waterfall, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Tools: Familiarity with issue tracking tools like JIRA and defect management tools like TestRail.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
