Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools.
- Perform manual and automated regression testing to verify fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and clarify testing scopes.
- Analyze application performance, usability, and security to provide actionable feedback for improvements.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and enhance user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a QA Tester or Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including Black-box and White-box testing.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking systems.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
