Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Document detailed bug reports and track issues through to resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements and verify fixes.
- Perform regression testing on new releases to maintain existing functionality.
- Conduct exploratory testing to discover edge cases and usability issues.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably in a part-time or contract capacity.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test cases, and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Familiarity with web-based applications and mobile testing environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively report technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
