Responsibilities
- Execute Test Plans: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
- Regression Testing: Perform rigorous regression testing to ensure new features do not break existing functionality.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Design) to understand requirements and provide technical testing insights.
- Automation Support: Assist in maintaining and optimizing existing automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed test documentation, including test status reports and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and basic scripting knowledge (Python or Java).
- Tools: Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium is a plus.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and testing life cycles.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and user experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
