Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various software applications.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, providing clear details and reproduction steps to developers.
- Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress to increase testing efficiency.
- Regression Testing: Perform rigorous regression testing to ensure new code changes do not disrupt existing functionality.
- API Testing: Validate RESTful APIs using Postman or similar tools to ensure data integrity.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Test applications across different browsers and devices to ensure a seamless user experience.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies; experience with Selenium or Appium is highly preferred.
- Database Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases and validating data accuracy.
- Agile Environment: Proven experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
