The Role:
In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and functionality of our applications. You will act as a gatekeeper for our product quality, working alongside developers and product managers to drive excellence.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure software functionality and user experience.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Perform regression testing to validate that recent code changes have not negatively impacted existing features.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues and improve product stability.
- Validate user stories against acceptance criteria and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation and test data.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, or Cypress.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with database querying (SQL) is a plus.
