Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both web and mobile applications.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira and Bugzilla, providing clear reproduction steps to developers.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and provide feedback during the development process.
- Automated Testing: Assist in maintaining and enhancing automated test suites to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of test results, metrics, and test coverage reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
- Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL for data validation and querying.
- Tools: Strong knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr) and version control systems (Git).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
