Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans to ensure software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) with high precision.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to troubleshoot issues and define test scenarios.
- Perform regression testing on new features and updates to prevent bugs in production.
- Analyze application logs, error reports, and system behavior to diagnose root causes.
- Develop and maintain test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and testing methodologies to recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) testing within a software development environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and complex querying.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively document findings and report status.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
