Located in our modern downtown office overlooking the Mississippi River, this hybrid role (3 days in-office) offers the perfect blend of collaboration and focused work. Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing for web/mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear reproduction steps and severity ratings
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate regression cycles and improve coverage
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing across iOS, Android, and major desktop platforms
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipeline testing strategies and quality gates
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and user experience issues
- Generate detailed test reports with actionable insights for product stakeholders
- Maintain and improve test documentation, including test cases and user scenarios
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on QA testing experience with SaaS or consumer applications
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) and scripting languages (Python/JavaScript)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and systematic problem-solving approach
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent QA certification a plus
- Excellent written communication skills for documenting complex technical scenarios
