Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to cover all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with developers.
- Automation: Design and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing on new builds to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- API Testing: Validate API responses and data integrity using Postman or REST Assured.
- Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and provide feedback on product quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in manual and automated testing, including Selenium, JIRA, SQL, and API testing tools.
- Programming: Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java is a plus.
- Agile/Scrum: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
