In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex AI models and human intent, crafting the precise inputs that drive exceptional outputs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine complex prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to maximize output accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct A/B testing and iterative analysis to improve model performance and reduce hallucinations.
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Product Managers to define AI use cases and requirements.
- Create comprehensive documentation and guidelines for prompt best practices within the organization.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP, LLM architectures, and prompt engineering methodologies.
- Optimize user workflows by integrating prompt engineering solutions into existing software ecosystems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Prompt Engineer or similar role within an AI/ML environment.
- Deep understanding of Large Language Models (GPT-4, Claude, Llama) and their capabilities.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and nuance.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to debug and troubleshoot model outputs.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python is highly preferred.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable instructions for the AI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
