Responsibilities
- Architecture Design: Develop and refine prompt architectures for LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude) to maximize accuracy, relevance, and tone.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze model outputs to identify failure points and iterate on prompt structures to improve response quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data scientists to fine-tune models and with product managers to define AI requirements.
- Best Practices: Establish and document standard operating procedures for prompt engineering to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Evaluation & Testing: Conduct rigorous testing of AI tools to ensure reliability and user satisfaction.
- Ethical AI: Ensure all generated outputs adhere to safety guidelines and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Prompt Engineering, NLP, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and LLM mechanics.
- Tools: Proficiency in using APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and frameworks like LangChain or Hugging Face.
- Creativity: Exceptional writing, editing, and creative thinking skills to craft compelling prompts.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related discipline.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and debug complex logic problems within AI systems.
