Responsibilities
- Design & Optimize: Craft precise, effective, and context-aware prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to maximize output quality.
- A/B Testing: Develop and execute rigorous testing frameworks to compare prompt variations and improve model performance.
- Output Analysis: Critically evaluate AI responses, identifying biases, errors, or hallucinations and iterating on prompts to correct them.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive libraries of prompt templates, best practices, and style guides for internal teams.
- Integration: Collaborate with software engineers to integrate prompt engineering workflows into production pipelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in copywriting, technical writing, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or JavaScript is a strong plus; familiarity with APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) is required.
- Creativity: Exceptional ability to think laterally and creatively to elicit specific behaviors from AI models.
- Communication: Clear and articulate communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and work independently in a flexible environment.
