Responsibilities
- Prompt Architecture: Design complex, multi-turn prompt templates that drive high-performance behavior in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Model Fine-Tuning: Collaborate with data scientists to fine-tune foundation models on proprietary datasets to enhance domain-specific accuracy.
- Output Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine model responses to minimize hallucinations, improve tone, and ensure safety and compliance.
- Tool Development: Integrate prompt engineering workflows into internal development pipelines using tools like LangChain or semantic kernels.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation and style guides for prompt engineering best practices to scale team knowledge.
- Research & Iteration: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and apply cutting-edge techniques to improve model efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in Prompt Engineering, NLP, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of transformer architectures and familiarity with GPT-4, Claude, or similar LLMs.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and experience with API integrations.
- Framework Mastery: Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or prompt optimization libraries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
