Responsibilities
- Design & Optimization: Engineer complex, multi-step prompts that elicit high-quality, contextually relevant responses from Large Language Models (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama).
- Model Evaluation: Develop and execute rigorous testing protocols to assess model performance, identify biases, and refine output accuracy.
- Knowledge Management: Build and maintain a library of prompt templates, best practices, and documentation for internal and external use.
- Creative Strategy: Collaborate with product teams to ideate innovative AI-driven features and user experiences.
- Feedback Loops: Analyze user interactions and feedback to iteratively improve prompt structures and model behavior.
- Technical Collaboration: Partner with data scientists to fine-tune models and integrate prompt engineering strategies into broader AI pipelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical writing, content strategy, or a related field with a strong focus on AI and machine learning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with APIs (REST, OpenAI, Anthropic). Understanding of NLP concepts and transformer architectures.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable instructions.
- Creativity: Strong creative problem-solving abilities and an innate curiosity about how language models process information.
- Tools: Experience with prompt engineering tools, A/B testing frameworks, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field is preferred.
