Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-quality prompts for LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude) to achieve specific business outcomes and user goals.
- Analyze model outputs to identify biases, hallucinations, and areas for improvement, iterating rapidly to enhance accuracy.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to fine-tune models and integrate prompt strategies into production APIs.
- Establish best practices, documentation standards, and internal tools for prompt engineering within the organization.
- Test and validate AI responses against predefined benchmarks and user feedback loops.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI trends.
- Conduct A/B testing on different prompt structures to maximize conversion and user engagement.
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience working directly with LLMs, demonstrating a deep understanding of tokenization and context windows.
- Strong command of English grammar, rhetoric, creative writing, and technical communication.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AI libraries (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI API).
- Demonstrated ability to debug and iterate on AI systems to solve complex problems.
- Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
