Join Nexus Innovations as a Part-Time UX Designer and transform user experiences for our cutting-edge SaaS platform. We're seeking a creative problem-solver to collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct user research, and deliver intuitive design solutions. This flexible 20-hour/week role offers remote options with occasional in-person workshops at our Saint Paul headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to identify pain points
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma
- Develop design systems and maintain UI component libraries
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to implement designs
- Analyze user behavior metrics to iterate on design solutions
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and gather feedback
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX design experience with portfolio showcasing mobile/web projects
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of design systems and accessibility standards
- Experience with user research methodologies and wireframing
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
