Job Description
Join our award-winning design team as a Part-Time UX Designer and transform digital experiences for clients across healthcare, education, and e-commerce sectors. This flexible role (20-25 hrs/week) offers remote collaboration with our Lubbock-based creative hub while contributing to impactful projects that serve 500K+ users monthly. You'll work in an agile environment with mentorship from senior designers and opportunities to grow your portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to identify pain points
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma and Adobe XD
- Develop design systems and component libraries ensuring consistency across platforms
- Collaborate with developers to implement pixel-perfect designs with responsive optimization
- Analyze user behavior metrics to iterate on designs and improve conversion rates
- Present design solutions to stakeholders with clear rationale and user-centered insights
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX design experience with portfolio showcasing end-to-end projects
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards
- Experience with user research methodologies and A/B testing
- Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive user flows
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Portfolio demonstrating problem-solving through design
