We are Apex Digital Systems, a leading innovator in the fintech sector, and we are urgently hiring a talented Part-Time Software Engineer to join our distributed team. While we operate globally, we are specifically looking to fill this role for candidates based in or willing to work from Milwaukee, WI or New York, NY with full Remote Options.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define features and technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system stability.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Strong understanding of backend technologies (Node.js, Python, or Java).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
