Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Node.js and AWS
- Develop responsive React front-ends accessible across government platforms
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB systems
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
- Conduct security audits and implement OWASP best practices
- Mentor junior developers through pair programming sessions
- Document API specifications using OpenAPI 3.0 standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Vue)
- Proficiency with cloud services (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and GraphQL
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Active US security clearance or ability to obtain one
